Dear friends,

How are all you doing?

It’s been an active and busy little month of March for MADE as we really got underway with our first project.  See our photos and read on by clicking on the attached document to hear what MADE has been up to this month…

Friday 6th March – Donation to Widows in Chikwawa

Myself and our Chairperson, Orpa, travelled to a little village called LAUJI 1 in Chikwawa and through Ahava Ministries, were able to make a difference to 40 widows lives over there who were still struggling after the effects of the floods.  They had no food, and were sleeping on the dirt floors of their dilapidated homes.

The items MADE donated were as follows:

40 x Bars of Bathing soaps

40 x Bars of Laundry soaps

40 x Blankets

40 x Sleeping mats (nkeka)

25 x Bails of Soya pieces (50 pkts/bail)

Mosquito nets were also required, but unfortunately our budget could not stretch to provide those at present!

Thank you to all our Trust members and their monthly contributions which helped towards financing this project as well as to the free donations of Bathing and Laundry Soaps from Sara Kidy at Anchor Industries.
